Program Overview

Biotechnology focuses on the application of biological sciences to develop innovative solutions in healthcare, agriculture, food production, and environmental sustainability. Students gain expertise in molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, bioprocessing, and bioinformatics, preparing them to contribute to Sarawak’s renewable resources, agro‑food, and green economy sectors under PCDS 2030.

• STPM / A‑Levels / UEC with strong passes in Biology and Chemistry
• Foundation or Diploma in Science/Engineering with minimum CGPA ≥ 2.5
• IELTS ≥ 6.0 / TOEFL iBT ≥ 75 / MUET Band ≥ 4
• Anak Sarawak (MyKad “K” status), first bachelor’s degree, full‑time enrollment, no other scholarships or loans
